Project Overview

A Hair & Nail Salon in New York City hired me to help increase its visibility on Google Maps, drive higher organic traffic rates, and increase appointment bookings.

 

Before working with me, the salon’s website had a slow page loading speed and very little content for ranking and conversion opportunities. Additionally, all of their traffic came from social media or PPC ads. The client wanted more organic traffic, direct and straight from the search engine.

 

The Salon needed a thorough SEO (and local SEO) audit and page optimization, followed by a comprehensive strategy and implementation. Their main goals were to increase organic traffic through SEO and improve website quality for user engagement and conversion.


I optimized the website to perform better on both regular and local search engines by using better keywords, creating higher-quality content, building listings and links, and optimizing the website’s design as needed. Within the first month of this strategy, organic search engine and Google Maps rank positions improved by 22%, resulting in a 50% traffic increase exclusively from organic search and bounce rate improvement of 11%.
